VA Portland Veterans are the recipient of TLC from the DailyKos Quilt Guild this week. Angela marx, Ann Reed, Sara Reed, Sarah Wilmot, and dick Pierce (Army Veteran) donated 22 quilts, 30 scarves, and 20 teddy bears.
The quilts are from all over the U.S., brought by people attending a national convention in Portland. The teddy bears were donated by one person. Local members of the group stopped by to present the donation to VAPORHCS this week. VAPOHCS is only the 3rd facility nationwide, behind Palo Alto and Detroit, to receive the donation.
